Our Quarantine and Export Process
Apollo Ornamental ensures the health and quality of its ornamental fish exports through adherence to the NPARKS/AVS Quality Assurance Scheme (AQUAS). We commit to meeting AQUAS requirements, operating approved systems, and facilitating audits. The company prioritizes biosecurity, staff training, and rigorous quarantine procedures. Fishes undergo a quarantine period at our facility and fish with clinical signs of disease are managed according to our disease management program, ensuring only healthy specimens are exported. Protocols for pre-export inspection, disease treatment, and biosecurity measures are meticulously followed to maintain high standards.
Comprehensive quality control and management practices encompass pre-import checks, handling of sick fishes, record-keeping, and complaint resolution. Supplier facilities are periodically assessed for quality standards, while strict protocols govern the handling and treatment of sick fishes. Records of suppliers, shipments, and customer complaints are diligently maintained, ensuring accountability and traceability throughout the export process. Apollo Ornamental's commitment to quality assurance underscores its dedication to delivering healthy, high-quality ornamental fishes to global markets.
